Terribly British Day, Canberra, Sunday 4 December 2011

Owing to heavy overnight rain, the venue for this event was changed to the Treasury car park, parallel to Commonwealth Avenue, Barton, Canberra.

BEAC Christmas Lunch Sunday 11 December 2011

Sunday 11 December 2011 | BEAC Christmas Lunch

Bookings closed 30 November 2011.

Details are as follows:

Venue: The Briars Country Lodge and Historic Inn, 653 Moss Vale Road, Burradoo. The Briars is located between Burradoo and Moss Vale. Lunch will be a two-course main & dessert, alternate drop and will include bread rolls & tea & coffee. The menu will be available at a later date. The actual venue at The Briars is the Conservatory, which is adjacent to the motel accommodation at the rear of the Inn. Organiser: Bob Payne
Time: 12 Midday for 12:30 pm.

BEAC at Gathering of the Faithful, Wagga Wagga, September 2011

   

A sizeable contingent of BEAC members with MG’s attended the annual Gathering of the Faithful Rally over the weekend of 11 to 13 September 2011. The Host Club was the MG Car Club of Wagga Wagga. President’s Report following Committee Meeting of 17 August 2011

The meeting was called to discuss and clarify some matters that have recently been raised by members of the Club.

1.  Member’s comments or submissions that are received through the Website will be sent by the Webmaster (Rob Turner) to the Club Executive (Bob Payne and Tom Currie) who will, if appropriate, submit them to the full Committee for their opinion before authorising publication on the Website or privately contacting the member concerned.

2.  Sunday runs will continue to be held on the last Sunday in the month and will be included on the Events page of the Website. Invitational events on the last Sunday could be utilised as a Club run. All events will be listed in chronological order.

3.  The Club will consider scheduling a maximum of three (3) Wednesday Twilight Runs each summer.

4.  More than one event may be scheduled for any one day. Those members with vehicles on Conditional Registration who attend an invitational event must inform the Club Plates Registrar (Jim Hutton) prior to attending the event.

PLEASE NOTE : Chevalier College Motorfest on 30th. October 2011 is an invitational event. Since its beginning 5 years ago, the Club has supported the College with our presence. Members with vehicles on Conditional Registration who are attending the event can either contact the Club Plates Registrar prior to the event OR see Bob Payne at the event to sign the Attendance Form.

Exclusive Gourmet Pie Run to Grandma’s Little Bakery, Collector – Wednesday 31 August 2011

Lunch will be Grandma’s Gourmet ‘Basket Pie’ served with Side plus Tea or Coffee. Cost $21.70 per person. Extra drinks, wine & dessert available at additional cost. Due to wet weather, the Run for Wednesday 20 July is postponed to Wednesday 3 August 2011. However, those who wish to get together for morning coffee, etc., please join us at the Post Café & Bar, Argyle Street, Moss Vale from 10.30 am.
